At the core of the bulb is a highly sensitive PIR infrared motion sensor with a 120° detection angle, capable of picking up motion within about 20 ft (6m) during dusk or darker conditions. Once motion is detected, the light automatically turns on and stays lit for approximately 60 seconds — long enough to safely pass through the space without fumbling for a switch. For best sensitivity, install with the sensor tip facing downward at a height of 10–13 ft.
Built-in dusk-to-dawn functionality means the bulb only activates when ambient light drops below about 30 Lux, so it won’t waste energy triggering during daylight hours — automatically turning off again once the space is well-lit. Powered by efficient 5730 LED chips, the 9W version delivers 1000 lumens (equivalent to an 80W traditional bulb) while the 5W version offers 600 lumens (equivalent to 30W) — both saving up to 90% on energy costs compared to traditional bulbs.
Installation is simple thanks to the standard E27 base, which fits directly into existing E27 sockets with no wiring or extra fixtures required — just screw it in and it’s ready to go.
